MFA Residency Scholarship Application

The Master of Fine Arts Residency Scholarship is a need-based award designed to help students attend the residencies that are a central component of the MFA program. Residencies provide students with immersive writing workshops, mentorship, and community-building experiences, both domestically and abroad. The scholarship may cover all or a portion of residency fees, helping remove financial barriers that might otherwise prevent students from participating. Current and prospective MFA students are eligible to apply for the residency scholarship.

Part time attendance or withdraw from Alma College will result in the cancellation of the scholarship award

I understand that eligibility for the program is based off financial information as provided by the 26-27 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA will provide a Student Aid Index (SAI*) to Alma College and that will be used to determine my ability to move forward with need based aid.
