Are you ready to take your throwing career to the next level?

The Future Scots Elite Throws Camp is an exclusive invitation-only prospect camp designed for high school juniors and seniors in the Classes of 2027 and 2028 who are serious about competing at the collegiate level. Hosted by the Alma College Track & Field Program, this elite experience provides athletes with the opportunity to train alongside collegiate coaches, learn what it takes to succeed at the next level, and experience the culture of the Alma Throws Program firsthand.

Instruction will be led by Alma College Throws Coach Lillian Albaugh, who is entering her fourth year with the Alma College Track & Field Program. A former national-level competitor, Coach Albaugh has spent the last three years building and developing the Alma Throws Program while helping student-athletes pursue excellence both on and off the field.

Throughout her coaching career, she has had the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with some of the nation's most respected collegiate and Olympic-level coaches, gaining valuable insight into the technical, physical, and mental aspects required to compete at the highest levels of the sport.

Coach Albaugh's passion for athlete development and commitment to excellence provide campers with a unique opportunity to experience elite-level instruction, learn the fundamentals of successful collegiate throwing, and gain firsthand insight into what it takes to become a Future Scot.

Camp Experience Includes

Technical instruction in the Shot Put and Discus
Event-specific drills and skill development
Competitive throws competitions and performance evaluations
Weight room training and strength development sessions
Recruiting education and an inside look at the Alma College Throws Program
Opportunities to interact with Alma College coaches and student-athletes
Experience training in Alma College's outstanding facilities

Camp Information

Check-In: 8:00 AM
Check-In Location: First Floor Lobby of the Hogan Athletic Complex
Camp Begins: 8:30 AM
Camp Conclusion: Approximately 1:45–2:00 PM
Camp Fee: $75 per athlete

Release of Liability, indemnification & Media Agreement

I, the undersigned parents/guardian, give permission for my child to attend and participate in the camp at Alma College. I understand this event will take place at Alma College and my child will be under the supervision of Alma College designated individual(s). I hold the college and all its staff and volunteers harmless for any injury or incident involving my child.

In the event of any emergency, I authorize Alma College to secure from any licensed hospital, physician and/or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for me or my minor child/ward's immediate care and agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered. I understand that this authorization includes transporting my child by ambulance if necessary to the nearest medical treatment facility if I am unable to be reached first.
