We wish to invite your band to perform at Alma College on October 3, 2026. The entry fee for this event is $200.00. In exchange, you will receive 10 FREE passes for staff or to use as you see fit. Admission at the gate will be $5 for Adults. Children, Students, and Veterans are free. Concessions will be available. We hope to see your band perform!

Alma College’s Field-turf Stadium is an ideal all-weather performance venue.
Each band will receive in-depth taped comments in the areas of Music Performance and Music Effect, Marching Performance, Visual Effect, Color Guard, and Percussion.
Bands may compete in the SMB format www.scholasticmarchingbands.com or perform for comments only.
Plaques will be awarded to all participating bands.
There will be four classifications: A, B, C, and D
It will be an afternoon show, with a 1:00 P.M. start, so bands can return home at a reasonable hour or compete again on an evening show at a second site.

By registering my school for the Marching Band Invitational, I confirm that I am authorized to do so and understand that participating students will remain under the supervision and responsibility of their school and designated chaperones. I understand that my school is responsible for providing a current Certificate of Insurance and ensuring that all participating students complete the required student/parent forms.

I understand that Alma College may seek emergency medical treatment for a student when necessary, and that any resulting medical expenses are the responsibility of the student, parent/guardian, or participating school, as applicable.

Payment Information

Registration fee (less $30 processing fee) will be refunded if written notice is received in our office on or before September 10, 2026. Alma College reserves the right to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. Please send a copy of your program and show information with your registration form including show title, names of songs, drum majors, directors, staff, and anything else you would like included in the program.
