The Scots Swim Camp at Alma College offers competitive swimmers a focused opportunity to improve stroke technique, racing skills, and overall performance.

Led by Head Swim Coach Chris Hamstra and his experienced staff, the camp emphasizes technical development (coaching strokes inside out), in-water training, team building, and leadership growth. Swimmers receive individualized attention with a low camper-to-coach ratio of 4–6 per coach, ensuring meaningful feedback and progress.

    Offering:
Overnight session (five days, four nights)
    Extended day commuter option (8 a.m.–8 p.m.).

The camp is open to ages 10–18. For safety and overall experience, swimmers should have competitive experience and be able to swim at least 25 yards of all four strokes: fly, back, breast, and free. Campers are grouped by similar ability levels and goals, and will leave motivated and inspired.
