Alma College accepts applications on a rolling basis throughout the year, but we recommend high school seniors apply during the fall of their senior year for maximum scholarship consideration.
Freshman Application Process:
Important Note: A system upgrade will occur on or around Dec. 15, 2013. All in-process online applications should be complete at that time or information may be lost. You may also start a new application at any time.
You may complete our online application, apply using the Common Application or download a printable version of the application and mail it to the Alma College Admissions Office. Please note that applying online is free while submitting the paper application requires a $25 fee.
In addition to completing your application for admission, please print the appropriate document and have your school official complete it:
Freshmen Applicants – Counselor Recommendation Form
Transfer Applicants – Transfer Recommendation Form
Those using the Common Application will obtain recommendations as part of the Common App process.
Also, please have the following records sent to Alma College:
> Official high school transcript
> ACT/SAT scores
Transfer students should refer to the Transfer Admissions Requirements Web page for a full description of requirements.
International students should refer to the International Admissions Requirements Web page for a full description of requirements.
Renewed students (those who have previously attended Alma for any reason other than dual enrollment) should contact the Admissions Office at 1-800-321-ALMA before completing this application.
Upon receiving all application materials, the Admissions Office will review your application. Usually, we are able to provide you with an admissions decision within two weeks. If you have questions about your application, please contact your admissions representative.
